Most options screeners cost $40-150/month and show you 500 alerts you don't know what to do with. Flow Proof is different. It scans 25 high-volatility stocks, scores each one for premium selling quality, and tells you exactly which puts look good and why. The whole thing is free.

What the Scanner Does

IV Rank Scoring
Compares current implied volatility to the stock's own history. High IV Rank means options are expensive relative to normal. That's when selling premium pays the most.
IV/HV Ratio
If implied volatility is lower than historical volatility, you're selling cheap insurance. The scanner filters these out automatically so you don't sell underpriced options.
Setup Grading (A through F)
Every stock gets a letter grade based on IV Rank, entry timing, drawdown from highs, and distance from the moving average. A-grade setups have everything lined up.
AI Trade Analysis
Click AI Analyze on any stock and get a specific put recommendation with strike, expiration, premium, breakeven, and return. The AI uses real option chain data from Tradier, not hypothetical numbers.
Market Regime Context
The scanner shows you whether VIX is low, normal, elevated, or high. This drives which delta to target. High VIX means sell further out of the money for the same premium.

Why It's Free

I'm Matt. Mining engineer, not a Wall Street trader. I built Flow Proof to teach myself options selling and got tired of paying $149/month for FlowAlgo when I was using 20% of it. So I built my own scanner, added AI analysis, and decided to make the whole thing free because the best way to learn is to share what you're building.

The data comes from Tradier (real option chains with Greeks), Yahoo Finance (historical prices), and FRED (VIX, yield curve). The AI runs on GPT-4o-mini. Total infrastructure cost is about $30-50/month. If you find it useful, there's a buy-me-a-coffee link on the pricing page. But the tool stays free either way.

Who This Is For

This scanner is built specifically for people who sell options for income. Cash-secured puts, covered calls, the wheel strategy. If you're buying calls hoping for 10x returns, this isn't your tool. If you want to find stocks where the options premiums are rich, the entry timing is right, and the risk/reward makes sense for selling puts, that's exactly what this does.

What You Won't Find Here

No whale flow tracking. No dark pool data. No congress trading tracker. Those features used to be part of Flow Proof but I turned them off because the API costs didn't make sense for a free tool. What remains is the core scanner, the AI analysis, the trade blotter, and a research library with 50+ free articles on options trading.
